Maloney suffers second shoulder injury

After recently returning to full fitness, Tipperary hurler Hugh Maloney has suffered another injury while on duty for his club, Eire Og Nenagh.
Maloney, who was out of action for two months due to a damaged a/c shoulder joint, damaged his other shoulder while playing against Toomevara on Sunday, just as he was beginning to challenge for a place in Liam Sheedy's side to face Cork on June 8 at Pairc Ui Chaoimh.
Tipp boss Sheedy told the Irish Examiner that "it will be a week to 10 days before Hugh can go full training again."
He added: "That's a worry because we only have four weeks to go until the Cork match.
"Hugh is a very strong and versatile player but thankfully it's not a broken collarbone or anything of serious significance."
